RadioSurgery Canada is located within the Achilles Foot Health Centre, a 3,800 square-foot facility completely devoted to medical issues concerning the foot.

 Our facility offers:

  • The newest, most up-to-date, digital radiosurgery equipment from Ellman.  We are the first podiatric facility in Canada with this equipment.

  • Top-of-the-line imaging of
    both bone and soft tissues.

This includes filmless bone imaging in the form of the OEC 6600 fluoroscope by General Electric.  The result is live, real-time, moving pictures of bony structures on a TV-like screen.

And it includes filmless soft tissue imaging in the form of diagnostic ultrasonound by Esaote.  The result is live, real-time, moving pictures of soft tissues on a TV-like screen.  

  • State-of-the-art equipment, including:

    • Top-quality U.S. and German instrumentation

    • Power instrumentation from UAM

    • Digital Radiosurgery equipment from Ellman International

    • AO Fixation materials from K-Medic and Vilex

    • Midmark 417 surgical chair for maximum patient comfort.  Depending upon the type and length of the procedure, patients may watch TV on our flat-screen television, listen to music, or read a book.

While they're waiting, the patient's family and friends can enjoy a comfortable waiting room with up-to-date magazines and a flat-screen television.  Or they can wander over to the nearby Starbucks for some coffee,  enjoy one of the neighborhood restaurants, or shop at the nearby mall.
